BBQ Open 4-Person Best Ball Golf Outing at Hillcrest Resort

Orion, Illinois --- Hillcrest Resort is hosting the Illinois BBQ Festival July 27-29.  Kicking off the weekend on Friday, will be the BBQ Open 4-Person Best Ball Golf Outing.  The outing will be a shotgun start at 11:00 a.m.  Every golfer has a chance to win.   The entry fee is $65 which includes 18 holes, a cart, and lunch.  Prizes will be awarded to the top teams. 

Orion, Illinois --- Hillcrest Resort is hosting the Illinois BBQ Festival July 27-29.  The BBQ contest will take place on Sunday, with the set-up for the contestants on Saturday, July 31^st.  The 4 categories for the contest are chicken, pork butt/shoulder, pork ribs, and beef brisket.  The entry fee for the BBQ contest is $45. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top 3 in each category. 

Hillcrest Resort is hosting the Illinois BBQ Festival July 27-29.  The BBQ contest will start on Saturday July 30 at 11pm.  The entry fee for the BBQ contest is $45 to enter and $10 per category. Cash prizes will be awarded in each category.    The judges for the Illinois BBQ Festival will be announced one month before contest.

8:00 p.m.                           Head cook meeting to go over rules and how it’s going to run

8:30 p.m.                           Meat inspected

6:00 p.m. - 12:00a.m.          Horseshoes, Face Painting, Movie by the Pool (Cars), & Rock
