BBQ Open 4-Person Best Ball Golf Outing at Hillcrest Resort
Orion, Illinois --- Hillcrest Resort
is hosting the Illinois BBQ Festival July 30 August 1, 2010.
Kicking off the weekend on Friday, July 30 will be the BBQ Open
4-Person Best Ball Golf Outing. The outing will be a shotgun start
at 8:00 a.m. Every golfer has a chance
to win a Porsche Cayenne S valued at $60,000 with a hole in one on
the designated hole. The entry fee is $65 which includes 18 holes,
a cart, and lunch. Prizes will be awarded to the top 2 teams.

is hosting the Illinois BBQ Festival July 30 August 1, 2010. The
BBQ contest will take place on Sunday, August 1st with
the set-up for the contestants on Saturday, July 31st.
The 4 categories for the contest are chicken, pork butt/shoulder,
pork ribs, and beef brisket. The entry fee for the BBQ contest is
$45. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top 3 in each category.
Hillcrest Resort is hosting the Illinois BBQ Festival July 30
August 1, 2010. The BBQ contest will start on Saturday July 31 for
the individuals competing in the beef brisket and pork
butt/shoulder. The individuals competing in the chicken and pork
ribs will begin Sunday morning, August 1. The entry fee for the BBQ
contest is $45 to entry and $10 per category. Cash prizes will be
awarded in each category.
The judges for the Illinois BBQ Festival are Doug from Bass Street
Chop House, Eran from Zbest Cafι, Brad Scott from Scott Community
College and Andrew from Thunder Bay Grill. The two local charities
that the BBQ Festival will be benefiting are GROW Ministries and the
Child Abuse Council.
